The South African National Energy Association (SANEA) is hosting an open dialogue on the effective implementation of the National Development Plan (NDP) on 6 November 2014 at the Indaba Hotel, Fourways, Gauteng. The all-day event, dubbed the SANEA Action for Energy 2014, seeks to identify the areas where industry and government can work together to resolve bottlenecks and facilitate productive energy development. The energy chapter of the NDP has set a high level agenda, but it has left the development of the detail of implementation to government departments and industry to take forward.
